The new series of Tattoo Fixers on Channel 4 is set in a pop-up tattoo parlour where three tattoo artists transform unwanted and regrettable tattoos. The team work on a mixture of clients who wish to change their embarrassing, badly done, rude and crude tattoos. People come to the studio and show the team the piece that they want covering, while giving a short brief and each artist draws a tattoo design and the customer picks the one they want to get tattooed.
The team includes:
Jay Hutton who manages his own studio in Cheshire, where he tattoos realism and black and grey work on celebrity clientèle.
The wonderful self-taught Lou Hopper of King of Hearts London, who was one of the artists tattooing at our recent Feminist Flash day.
Sketch who specialises in traditional bold colour tattoos from Reppin Ink London..

Actually Claire I think you will find if you did your research-
To do a cover up it has to be at least 3 times larger than the original.
Shows your intelligence- maybe you could get dick tattooed across your forehead! I’m sure many would happily do it!

I have a tribal tattoo which was done in two stages in 2 different countries, a major mistake and an 18 year reminder of laser treatment contemplation. I would love to cover it up with something amazing, a work of art. If you guys are reading this, I would be forever in your debt if you were to consider my tattoo in in your future series.

My other half a beautiful man with an amazing heart who has gone through an accident and he really should not be here needs a cover up. It covers half of my back, continues across my ribcage and onto my stomach and breast.
It’s a tree, is grey scale and on the inside of the trunk it looks like an alien. Good news, it is mostly lining with slight shading.
Don’t know if that would help though.
Don’t know what I’m willing to pay for it but I would go for it if it is reasonable.
